California | The California Civil Rights Department has updated their Discrimination and Harassment notice. The updated notice reflects a new law that clarifies that the California Fair Employment and Housing Act prohibits discrimination based on a single protected characteristic or a combination of two or more protected characteristics. California | The California Civil Rights Department has updated their Family Care and Medical Leave (CFRA Leave), and Pregnancy Disability Leave notice. The updated notice reflects a web address for employees to obtain more information on the California Paid Family Leave Law. The poster revision date is January 16, 2025. |
Illinois | The Illinois Department of Labor has updated their Workers’ Compensation notice. The updated notice reflects a new logo as well as new phone numbers for certain workers’ compensation offices. The poster revision date is February 11, 2025. |
Kansas | The Kansas Department of Labor has updated their Unemployment Insurance notice. The updated notice reflects information on how to qualify for unemployment insurance benefits. In addition, the revised notice includes new instructions for filing a claim and updated contact information for claimants. The poster revision date is January 21, 2025. |
Massachusetts | The Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General has updated their Earned Sick Time notice. The updated notice reflects that employees can now use sick time to address their own physical and mental health needs, as well as those of their spouse, in cases of pregnancy loss or failed assisted reproduction, adoption, or surrogacy. The Job Protection section now explicitly prohibits employers from disciplining employees for exercising their earned sick time rights and includes specific examples to illustrate this protection. The poster revision date is January 15, 2025. |
Massachusetts | The Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development has released the new Veteran Services poster, which must be distributed and posted by employers with 51 or more full-time employees. Specifically, covered employers need to provide the poster to each employee individually upon hire and annually thereafter and display it in a conspicuous area in the workplace that all employees can access. Oregon | The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries has updated their Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) notice. The updated notice reflects a new address for submitting complaints regarding the administration of the Oregon Safe Employment Act. The poster revision date is January 20, 2025. |
Rhode Island | The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training has released their Veterans’ Benefits & Services notice. A new law requires employers to post a notice in the workplace containing information on the various benefits and services available to veterans. The poster revision date is February 4, 2025. San Francisco, CA | OLSE has released an updated 2025 Paid Parental Leave Poster (PDF). The mandatory PPLO poster has been updated for the first time since 2020, to reflect changes with California’s Paid Family Leave (PFL) program.
This poster must be placed at each job site or workplace in a location where employees can read it easily as of January 1, 2025. For employees working remotely, the poster may be provided electronically. |
