FinCEN Issued the Beneficiary Ownership Information Reporting Rule of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA)

  All U.S. and Foreign entities created in or registered to do business in the U.S., or any employers who use special purpose entities created by the filing of a document with a Secretary of State (or similar office under state law, Indian Tribal law, or foreign jurisdictions).  January 1, 2024

We wanted to inform employers that the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) issued the final Reporting Rule. These regulations are part of the implementation of the CTA.

This rule is applicable to certain entities that must report two categories of individuals: the beneficial owners of the entity, and individuals who have filed an application with specified governmental authorities to create the entity or register it to do business.
