Washington D.C. to Require Pay Transparency on Job Postings

We wanted to remind employers that Washington D.C. has joined the “pay transparency trend,” and will start requiring as of June 30, 2024:

  • Posting with salary or hourly pay range (minimum and maximum).
  • Disclosure of the available healthcare benefits to candidates before the first interview.
  • Posting of a notice of employees’ rights in a conspicuous place.
