Vensure’s Risk Management: A Moment with Guy Archambeau

Three core departments that fall under Risk Management include Underwriting, Loss Control, and Claims. “Our Underwriting Department is exceptional,” says Guy, “they analyze which carrier program best fits each client, price the risk, and provide preliminary proposals. Our process is detailed and thorough.” Our underwriting staff works with our carriers, agents, and clients until a final quote is generated. Guy says, “When the final quote is presented and accepted by the client, they move on to our Client Development Department where they continue to move through the process of becoming a Vensure client.”

 

Vensure’s Loss Control Department works with clients that have any level of risk. “We are known for our boots on the ground work in Loss Control” says Guy. Within 30-60 days, one of our Loss Control Specialists visits the client to identify the hazards and help with improvements. “We will work with them to improve safety processes, procedures, and programs,” says Guy, “going out to client locations is part of the personal touch that Vensure is known for.” In person, our Loss Control Specialist performs a walk-through, analyzes the associated risks, reviews current safety standards, and provides guidance with implementing those standards. When it comes to claims, Vensure once again goes above and beyond the industry norm. “When a claim occurs,” says Guy, “we send it to our third-party administrator and assist them with the processing of the claim. Each of our clients has a full-time Claims Coordinator assigned to them. We are actively involved in each case.” The primary objective of the Claims Coordinator is to eliminate indemnity, the lost time supplemental wages an employee receives while they are out of work. We help employees regain health and return to work as soon as possible by working closely with doctors and our clients to provide the appropriate light duty work for the situation. If our client is unable to accommodate light duty work that fits within the doctors guidelines, Vensure has alternative light duty programs available.
